One Candle.net

Dr Annette Childs has worked with dying people for over 20 years. This has privileged her with great insight into the dying process and what lies beyond. A visit to her website, 'One Candle.net', is recommended. You will find it both comforting and uplifting.
Dr Childs has produced three books and an audio programme. In her words:
"Aside from birth, death is the one universal experience that we will all encounter. Although it is a topic many avoid, when it is approached with candor and insight fear is transformed into wisdom.
The lessons, stories, and anecdotes in this course come not from sterile academic theories, but instead from the dying themselves. Spend one day exploring 'life near death', and you will gain simple but profound ways to understand the dying process and minimize fear and anxiety. Your new found wisdom is like one candle; a light that can be passed to others: your loved ones, those that you care-give, and clientele if you are a helping professional."
There is a link on her site that will allow you to hear her giving an introduction to her work. Click the image below to access her website. On YouTube you can watch a video of Dr Childs talking about "After Death Communications", which contains important information for the bereaved. In another video she talks about "end of life experiences", collected from her long experience of working with the dying and the bereaved. These videos are brought to you by the American "Open to Hope TV" part of the "Open to Hope Foundation", founded by Dr Heidi Horsley and her mother Dr Gloria Horsley.
