Welcome to our Writings Section, where Members and Friends may submit their own, or other writers', non-copyrighted writings relevant to Spiritualism. Published writings by other authors will only be accepted for inclusion if the writer passed to the higher side of life more than 70 years ago, unless the copright holder's and publisher's permission has been given.
The Committee of York Spiritualist Centre very much hope that this website will become a YSC community site, so we hope that the majority of writings included here will be by YSC members, friends and well-wishers.

We are looking for any and all relevant articles, writing, poems, prayers, thoughts, with or without artwork and photos for inclusion here. Please study the list of pages in the "Writings" links at the top of the right-hand column, to see what we are looking for. If you can think of areas not included that should be, please contact us via the "webmaster" email address. Some people like to make "Inspirational Thoughts" cards or "Prayer" cards, using a Desktop Publishing program like "Publisher". If you have produced any such things in the past, and have digital images of them, please consider submitting them.
Obviously, we must reserve the right to edit all work submitted for suitability and length, as well as for spelling, punctuation and grammar. As far as is possible, however, we do want to present the original work of the writer. So please, dear Members and Friends of our Centre, if you have some writing at home that you are particularly proud of, don't leave it blushing unseen in some box, drawer or file. Dust it down and let us see it. Who knows how many others your inspirational thoughts will inspire?
